Shoo, shoo, Retarded Flu

Yeah, it got me. Not Howard Stern's infamous Retarded Flu, just THE FLU. Doctor's orders: rest and fluids. It always happens the week before a race. Not to give you TMI, but I've struggled with nausea, diarrhea, low-grade fevers and fatigue now for almost a week. Now my closing is postponed . . . again.

And just when I was getting ahead. Poopysticks.

Well, I'm back on it this afternoon. We'll see how it feels!

3 tidbits of wizdom:

I feel your pain -- I had the flu two weeks ago (thanks to my lovely nieces) and now I'm in day 4 of a crappy throat infection (probably from the clients in my office).

Sigh.

I miss training.

Hang tough! There's always a rough patch before it gets better. You're due for something fabulous!

Hey there! I just wanted to check in and see how you're feeling.

I'm hoping that you've managed to shake this thing and race this weekend.
