WEEK 2, DAY 3 TRAINING: 8:55 MILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right, baby!!!!!!!

I decided that today's run would be a lunch time run. Inspired by Dave M. (thanks Dave!), I went out to test my one-mile speed and how it's improved or declined since I was sick. Not only did I do the fastest 1-mile I've recorded with my Nike+ kit, it's the fastest 1-mile since I've been back from being sick.

This doesn't do anything but strengthen my resolve that I need to keep building the short distances. Until I hear about New York, I'm doing nothing but getting to 2 miles and getting faster. Endurance I know I've got . . . and in mid-June it'll be time to pump up the distance anyway.
