Let's just say this is a deceptively hard race. Again this year I did not bring home the 30-40-minute PR I have in the past, but still a PR of almost 20 seconds/mile for 8 total minutes.
The PR, however, is inconsequential compared to the experience, which was nothing short of magnificent. New friends, old friends, good times, great food, tons of waking, and a reminder of how much I'm looking forward to living somewhere besides Orlando.
Some really special moments happened...to say the least. It will take me a few days to compose my thoughts.
